  9. Luckily, just as I got the idea for this issue the air show came to
  10. Hamilton.  I took my camera and collected all the shots I thought I might
  11. need.  I even have some shots of the Stealth fighter, but didn't have time
  12. to fit it into this issue.

  14. There is probably more image manipulation in this issue then you might
  15. guess.  In all but one shot the planes were on the ground so I had to paint
  16. out all the landing gear and shut all the wheel wells.  I most cases there
  17. were also people standing in front of the planes and they had to be painted
  18. out too.  The cargo bay shot on the last panel had about 20 people that had
  19. to be removed.

  21. All the shots of the helicopter had open doors so I had to close them in
  22. the first panel of page 3.   I added motion blur to the props of the cargo
  23. plane, but that one's more obvious.

  25. I know that I've left a nasty piece of Mecha for the next artist to deal
  26. with in the next issue.  You might recognize it from the Japanese show
  27. Macross or Robotech as it's better known.  Anyway, I'm  willing to make
  28. shots of the model for the next artist if he/she doesn't want to try
  29. drawing it.

  33. To give credit where it is due: the road objects are from the LightWave
  34. road kit, the clouds are from the LightSky kit, and the really cool looking
  35. building is from the LightWave "Metro" tutorial by resident  CLI
  36. RoboLightWaveGuy Colin Cunningham.
